Ecuador

Laura spent a month living on an organic farm in Ecuador, and I got to go down and see the place (and a lot more of the country) during her last week there. It was an amazing place to chill out for a while, and every meal I ate was the best meal I ever had.

Chill Swell

A mellow weekend in the Swell with Laura and Lindy. We didn't do much besides hike a relatively mellow slot canyon and try to give Lindy heat stroke. It was really good to decompress for the weekend.

09 Rock

I didn't get to shoot nearly as much climbing photos as I would have liked during 2009 because I was working on my video and you can't really film and shoot at the same time. A lot of friends sent a lot of projects, but I don't think anyone worked as hard a route as Phunk did to send Hell (his first 5.13) in the fall. I don't have a photo of it, but it did make it into the video.

2009 Biking

Besides Alex breaking his collarbone, Brad jacking his wrist, and me separating my shoulder, the 2009 bike season went pretty good. Everyone stepped up their game and got better in one way or another. The freeride crew added to their bag of tricks and the racing crew crushed as usual.
