08/09 Ice Season

The discovery of backcountry skiing cut into my ice climbing quite a bit this year, but I still managed to get in a few good trips. And Alex finally bought new tools. I thought it would never happen.

08/09 ski season

This was my first real backcountry ski season, and it was everything I hoped it would be. It will take a lot to send me back to the lifts for anything more than the occasional easy day. I switched to skis from a snowboard and basically had to learn how to ski all over again. It was very worth it.
