08 Ice season

This ice season was weighted down by the baggage of everyday life. I had a hell of a time finding a good headspace, and I guess I never really did. In the end, I hung up my tools way before the ice melted and concentrated on getting things right in my life. However, while I flailed all year, all of my partners pushed their limits in one way or another and I'm proud to say that I climbed with them, even if I wasn't living up to my end of the bargin.

Just some random shots of my friends living life...

08 Bike season

I started riding big bikes a couple years ago, but this was the first season that saw me on the trails on a regular basis. I rode with some incredibly talented people and learned something new every day. I also got up to Whistler for the first time, and that will definitely have to become a regular trip.

08 Rock Season

As with every previous rock-climbing seasons, this one saw my friends and myself stepping up and sending harder and harder routes. I changed my regular tactics of just trad climbing all the time, and instead climbed quite a lot of sport routes and used that fitness to send my first three 5.12 trad climbs. Damn it feels good to get better. This was also my first year shooting on a digital camera.
