Blogger has changed their damn code and "upgraded" the site one too may times, so I'm taking my toys and going somewhere else. I moved everything to blog.adamriser.com where everything from this site now lives and all future posts will show up. See ya there...

Still Broken
It's like a damn M.A.S.H. unit at our place. Not only do I still have pins sticking out of my hand, but Jen managed to knock herself out on Sunday while riding at the Canyons. Besides loosing about an hour of memory and having a really nasty headache, she also ended up with a pretty good gash in her arm and a nasty bruise on her left leg (which did not work right for about a day). Jen will be alright by next week. I have three more weeks until I have a shot at getting the pins out.

Canada Roadtrip: Day 18
Well, it had to end eventually. Jen and I hammered out the 12 hour drive from Tacoma to SLC. But not before another day of chilling on the island and a ferry ride where our captain stopped so we could check out the whales (Narwhal Charlie!). I am really going to miss water, but I won't miss biking or climbing (as soon as I can use my thumb again).
Huge thanks to everyone who gave us a place to sleep and food to eat.

Canada Roadtrip: Day 14
Jen and I got in a much-needed rest day while traveling to Vancouver Island, and since my thumb still doesn't work, we decided to take another rest day today as well. Being from Washington originally, I really miss large bodies of water and big trees, so we spent some time at the beach, some time in the woods, and an afternoon soaking in a river. I really needed this rest day. Unfortunately, my thumb is still jacked.

Canada Roadtrip: Day 12
It's our last day at Whistler, and it pretty much had to be a photo day since I crashed pretty bad on Dirt Merchant yesterday and can't really use the thumb on my right hand. Keep that in mind when you see photos of me here and wonder "why isn't he doing anything cool?" Well, you'd be stoked to straight-air those jumps without a thumb too. Everyone was killing it today, so the photos pretty much took themselves. Big thanks to everyone for their patience, and I'm so happy that Zak is alright. Holy shit that was scary to watch man.
